Questions we hear often
If you do not see your question here, send us a note through the consultation form.
Do I need a lawyer for my issue?
Not every problem requires a hearing or a lawsuit. A consultation helps identify the forum, the deadlines, and whether negotiation, a tribunal application, or court is the better path.
What happens after I submit the form?
We review your intake and follow up using your preferred contact method. Submitting the form does not create a solicitor-client relationship. Please avoid sending highly sensitive documents until we have confirmed we can assist.
Where do you practice?
We are based in Oshawa and serve clients across Ontario, including matters before provincial tribunals and Small Claims Court.
How quickly should I reach out after a termination or eviction notice?
Sooner is better. Some employment and tenancy issues have short response windows. Even if you are unsure of your options, an early conversation can protect your position.
Can you represent me at the Human Rights Tribunal or the LTB?
Tribunal representation is one of our core services. Whether we can take a particular file depends on the facts, timing, and capacity. Tell us about your matter and we will let you know next steps.
Is this website legal advice?
No. Articles, FAQs, and service descriptions are general information about Ontario processes. Advice requires a review of your documents and circumstances.
Still have questions?
We would rather hear from you early than have you miss a deadline.
